The hip-hop star will be a free man after eight months of incarceration, providing he continues to abide by jail rules and regulations. Wayne previously found himself in trouble with prison officials when guards reportedly discovered "contraband" in his cell, including iPod earphones and a charger for an MP3 player.
But Wayne is refusing to let his legal problems silence his music -- he will release a new EP when he turns 28 on September 28.
