Heading into Thursday's game against the Bears with just three full days to get ready, Dolphins quarterback Tyler Thigpen made it a point to prepare for his first start since 2008 while saying all the right things.

``Like Coach always says,'' Thigpen said. ``No excuses made, no excuses accepted.''
